| I leave for The Butterfly Valley tomorrow night. Not that anyone would've noticed, but I thought I'd say "see you" now since I probably won't have any time tomorrow. I'm determined to have fun and not let the unfortunate events get in the way, so we shall see... | |

| Prince Zuko takes his shirt off and... ( And all the girls go... )I would, too, but this is totally ruining it for me. It so doesn't work, people, admit it. | |

| I wrote this long-ass entry at work, but it got messed up when I tried to post. Grr. Now I don't even know where to start, even though there isn't much going on. Let's see... - I'm leaving for vacation this weekend. My best friend Basak, one of her good friends Melik and I are going to The Butterfly Valley. This plan didn't become solid until Saturday, and then we met up and made plans and lists and stuff on Sunday. And then, on Monday, more people joined and our number went up to 9. And then, yesterday, it went up to 11. I only know 4 out of 10 of those people, so I'm guessing I can just ignore them if I don't click with them, but I'm still annoyed by how people invite themselves anywhere. I'm not gonna let that get to me, though.
- On Sunday, I've also met up with
thepriestkitten finally. It so didn't feel like it was our very first time meeting in person, and I had fun. We should definitely do it again sometime 'cos coffee+cigarettes+good company=my favorite times. Oh, and thanks to her, I didn't get lost when I got off the subway. - I haven't slept well in days 'cos Miss Sally doesn't let me. My sister hasn't been home for a few days now, and at night Sally's been attacking my legs and hair and begging me to play with her. I love her, and I know it's the regular kitten-thing, but seriously, guys. It gets very very frustrating when all you want is to SLEEP.
- I'm gonna have to start looking for a new job in August because what I'm doing at my current job will be all done by the end of September, the latest. I feel quite ready for a change, but at the same time I'm scared shitless that I won't find anything good. Stay positive, Zim, stay positive.
- Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince will hit theaters here on the 15th. I want to see it as soon as I get back from vacation, but nobody wants to see it with me. Thankfully, I don't mind spending time alone.
- This week's True Blood was a repeat, apparently. BOOOOOOOO YOU, HBO!
- Apparently, Kirsten Stewart is knocked up, and RPattz is the knocker. Lmfao.
I think this about sums it up, and I should stop before it gets any longer.

| I'm so excited about this, you don't even know. I've started my Avatar marathon, and even though I've watched most of the episodes more than once, I don't get bored. And, seriously... SOKKA = <333333 He and the "fluffy snot monster" are my favorites. I really don't have anything else to update about. You know what makes me really sad? Chuck Palahniuk is already picking out finalists to include in his anthology, and I have yet to write anything. Pffft. Off to bed. | |

| My shoes are finally here. Aren't they adorable? I got them from emandsprout on Etsy. She has so many more cute ones that I want. This is the highlight of my day. My boss told me today that I need to prepare a 20-minute PowerPoint presentation for the thesis. She has to present it to the board in September. Preparing it is no problem since I already know the 300something pages by heart, but getting her ready to present it is gonna take time and patience. Oh, well. I'm off to get True Blood's third episode. I'm glad I've only read the first book. Otherwise it would be completely ruined for me. Bill's as boring as always, Sookie is ruining Anna Paquinn for me 'cos she's so damn annoying, but Eric... Oh, Eric. | |

| I think this one shows just how tiny she is. The whole PLAYPLAYPLAY24/7-thing is getting to us sometimes, but I think we're doing alright. The one thing is that she can't find her water even though it's sitting right next to her food. When she climbs on top of us and meows, we put her next to the water, and then she drinks. Weird. Leave me a comment and I will give you a letter. Then, go to your journal and post ten things you love starting with that letter. Give your friends letters, too.Naz, espaces gave me the letter A: ( here here )People are "things," too. In case you didn't know. | |

| Sleep tight, Wendy. Welcome, Sylvia. I've finally finished transferring my stuff. The way I can describe how I feel is that it's as if I was driving an old, rusty pick-up truck all these years, and then someone put me in a spaceship. I'm not exaggerating. See how last.fm can detect my current song now? =D | |

| When my aunt told me this morning, I seriously thought she was fucking with me. A big part of my childhood has gone with him: doing the Thriller dance, putting band aids on all my fingers... If I try to say anything more, I'll probably cry, so that's it. | |
|
| These were taken by my sister, mimibalmi. I'm in ur cameraz, kissin' ur lensez. I'm in ur handz, lickin' ur fingerz. Have ai got somethin' in my eye? And, finally some BIG and GOOD news: my aunt and I went over my finances today (she's good at this stuff while I'm totally useless) and my brand new MacBook will be here on Saturday. See how I'm not using caps and not getting too excited? | |
|
| Every time I get super fed up with work, I find myself here. How very typical, eh?
I just remembered I forgot to mention one thing about the whole Placebo experience... This is for the gig gang: remember that one British girl we used to run into at EVERY Placebo show, and she used to tell us she was following them all around the world? Well, that's no lie, my friends, because I SAW HER in line on Tuesday. She even recognized me, which is weird. And, boy, was she pissed.
So that's the random thought of the hour here. Back to work.
