Okay. I finally watched it. And I did like it a lot. Aaaand I do know most of you are gonna grrrrrr at me for saying this -- especially Ally & JuJu-- but it doesn't live up to the hype. I guess I was expecting something a lot more extraordinary, especially considering I've been wanting to see it for months now. Anyway... It was a very cute movie afterall.

Yet, it made me realize once again that I have no tolerance for that teenage talk; it was worse than nails scratching a black board. It's good though because being able to annoy me THAT much means they did a good job at portraying the teens nowadays.

Plus, bonus points for including a Hole song in the soundtrack. And even more bonus points for including one of my most favorite Velvet Underground songs.



Now Zim's off to bed.

P.S. How fucking cute was Bleeker? If you say you didn't wanna squeeze him to death, you're lying to yourself.

I agree. It was an okay movie, kind of cute, but also kind of annoying. Loved most of the songs in it though.

Yeah. The soundtrack was pretty awesome. And the teenage talk was seriously sending me off the edge-- I was ready to cut my throat if they said like more than 10 times in a single sentence again.

Hahahah. Yeah. They did come up with great diaogue, but I still think it gets annoying after a while.

Definitely, and I thought a lot of the lines were too contrived. And don't get me started on Ellen Page's voice! :/ I just loved Rainn Wilson in this, even though his part was pretty small.

I definitely agree; with all the LJ going crazy over it, you would think it must be the best movie evarrrr!!! But no, too simple. But the language used was pretty realistic which kinda surprised me.

I am not even sure if I make any sense right now, so I'll just go to bed. Nightie.

Yeah. I thought it was gonna be "the shit," yet it's just another good movie. And, yes, the language was way too real-- I just couldn't believe the words Juno used to talk about the baby.

I think all the hype was because things like the language were "fresh". The fact that there was a teenager getting preggo and she even considered abortion (and then came to her OWN conclusion that about it - that it wasn't for her) and her stepmom was instantly behind her regardless if she wanted to be or not ("Okay, we need to get you on prenatal vitimins...").

I don't know. I liked it a lot. =D

And OMG BLEEKER. So cute. I want HIS babies, too.

He kinda looks like Brian Kinney from the side, which makes me go harr harr, lol. Not his body, though.

yeah it definitely wasn't what i was expecting either, but i still liked it.

and the "teen talk" was way overdone if you ask me. i'm 17 and none of my friends or peers talk the way juno & her friend did.

It is, isn't it? I have unfortunately witnessed teens who DO talk that way forever and ever, but I also do know not all of them do. Juno felt like a bee I couldn't shake away from the side of my ear most of the time.

When I first saw the movie I was expecting a huge comedy, but in the end it was funny but not too funny. & Michael Cera (Bleeker) is a cutie!

Yeah. It does have some funny lines, yet not as much as I expected either.
