They look so good, but fit so strange...


I keep forgetting how much I fucking love this album, and whenever it pops up on my iTunes, I listen to it a couple of times before I can move on. And I'm sure every girl at/around my age has the same memories of it: the sudden urge to bleach the hair; refusing to go out without red lipstick; singing along to "Just A Girl," going that's me! that's me; making out sessions to "Don't Speak..."

I do miss those days sometimes.

It so is! I hope the new No Doubt album will be more like this one and not that Rock Steady crap.

I LOVE that album. So many early teenage memories with my best friend are wrapped up with it. You have inspired me to go download it.

Isn't it amazing how a lot of those years are tied to this one album? I can't get enough of it once I start.

Hm well, I never wanted to change my hair color for any reason and dislike red lipstick, but yes for the Just A Girl part :P I was round 11 back then, and oh it just reminds me TONS of Boston. And making out sessions to Don't Speak?? I'd either begin crying or throw pillows (or whatever happens to be near) around =]

I never got any full album of No Doubt, I have the singles album and love that one, though.

If I remember the release date correctly, I should've been 11 when it came out, but the success of it didn't kick in here until about 1998, so I was 14 and ready to start trying anything, lol!

I love this one, and Return of Saturn I love lyrically, but I'm not crazy about the stuff they made afterwards. I love Gwen no matter what though =)

oh man i used to kill that albulm back in the day. it's definitely my fav no doubt album. people give gwen alot of shit but i think she's amazing and i love her style til this day.

You know... I still have it on cassette and I have 2 of them 'cos apparently my Walkman screwed up one and I had to get a new one, hahah. And I love Gwen too; she even rocked pregnancy!

Oh man, don't even get me started on my OWN red lipstick debacle! And the details are a little fuzzy, but I seem to recall trying to rock a bindi at one point too, haha.

So did I! Hahahah. And then junior year of high school I represented India at Model United Nations and actually had to wear a bindi, which was hilarious 'cos I felt like I had to burst into No Doubt songs =D
