Last night was a lot of fun, although as we got closer to the end, things started getting blurry. I haven't drank this much in a long time, and I don't regret that I did last night 'cos once in a while, you just gotta go for it. Hopefully Pari will send me the photos they took-- my face is probably redder than ever in all of them, ha!
Today my sister went, "How did the cab driver steal your shoe?" Apparently, I came in missing a shoe, and Barkin was carrying it, and then the two of us started bitching about how the cab driver stole it, but we managed to take it back. I honestly don't remember what the fuck happened there. Anyway....

The Tales of Beedle the Bard by
J.K. Rowling My review
rating: 3 of 5 stars
I guess my expectations were a bit too high for this one, thinking it would make up for the fact that there will be no more Harry Potter books. The tales are beautifully told and rather interesting, yet the footnotes tend to get annoying although some of them are quite hilarious. My favorite part was Dumbledore's commentary on "The Fountain of Fair Fortune," where he talks about Lucius Malfoy asking him to remove the tale from the Hogwarts Library: "This exchange marked the beginning of Mr. Malfoy's long campaign to have me removed from my post as Headmaster of Hogwarts, and of mine to have him removed from his position as Lord Voldemort's Favorite Death Eater."-- priceless.
