LOVED IT.

And Elijah Wood didn't piss me off like he always does. Now I'm wondering whether I should watch the Lord of the Rings movies. Yay/Nay? I'm more interested in hearing the opinions of those who've read the books and then seen the movies.

I FUCKING LOVE THIS SHOW. First, I felt like the Richard Castle character was a Hank Moody rip-off, but he's even better because Nathan Fillion makes me all ticklish in the knees, and he plays poker with James Patterson.

Oh, Mr. McCracken. How I've missed those words of yours.

I'm so excited about this, you don't even know. I've started my Avatar marathon, and even though I've watched most of the episodes more than once, I don't get bored. And, seriously... SOKKA = <333333 He and the "fluffy snot monster" are my favorites.

I really don't have anything else to update about. You know what makes me really sad? Chuck Palahniuk is already picking out finalists to include in his anthology, and I have yet to write anything. Pffft.

Off to bed.

Sleep tight, Wendy. Welcome, Sylvia.

I've finally finished transferring my stuff. The way I can describe how I feel is that it's as if I was driving an old, rusty pick-up truck all these years, and then someone put me in a spaceship. I'm not exaggerating.

See how last.fm can detect my current song now? =D

Yeah. Be prepared to die of cuteness...

Here's the newest addition to our family: Sally Daisy.

My sister and I brought her home yesterday, and today we got her registered at the vet's. She weighs 900 grams; it's insane!-- even her carrier weights 1,5 kilos.

Plus, our vet looks so much like Cate Blanchett with red hair that it's creepy. I was probably drooling half the time. Anyway... I'll hopefully have more photos soon to show you how tiny she is.

The combination of sun and too much heat has given me the worst headache ever. I met up with husby after work, and I had a raspberry frappucino. I had sat at a table in the shade, but the sun eventually turned around and found us. I could feel the damn drink bubbling up in my stomach, I swear. And it was gross.

Thankfully, though, I have Monday and Tuesday off. Laziness, here I come.

P.S. One of the many reasons why I love my JuJu-doll, [info]dreamxobscene: she lets me know about this kinda stuff.

Wil and I have similar taste in men, hahahah. Now all they need is for me to be the cheese, of course.

I've been listening to Tori's Abnormally Attracted to Sin ever since I got home, and the song Ophelia = <33333333333333333333333333

Ophelia your secret is safe
Ophelia you must break the chain
some girls will get their way
some fathers will control from the grave
Ophelia you must remember

Veronica's America is not like--
is not like Charlotte's, one to savor
cosmic flavor
then Alison whispers, "remember
Change waltzes in with her sister Pain
waiting for you to send her away
wish her well break the chain
break the chain"
I feel you

Ophelia
"The Eve of St. Agnes",
a poem he can't reach you in
Ophelia you know how to lose
but when will you learn to choose
those men who choose to stay
those mothers who won't look the other way
Ophelia you must remember

Veronica's America is not like ---
is not like Charlotte's, one to savor
cosmic flavor
then Alison whispers, "remember
Change waltzes in with her sister Pain
waiting for you to send her away
wish her well break the chain
break the chain"
I feel you
Ophelia

Okay... That was a good cry.

I'm usually behind when it comes to movies, but what else is new?! I kept hearing bad reviews about this, and the Broadway musical kicks its ass even when you're in the cheapest seats, but I enjoyed it.

I'm actually kinda glad I didn't see it at the theaters because I kept bursting into songs with them, and I even did the Dancing Queen dance like a dork, throwing myself around in my room and trying to see my little laptop screen at the same time.

Meryl Streep + Colin Firth + Julie Walters, especially = LOVELOVELOVELOVELOVELOVE.

/nerd.
