I'm still not in the mood to make an actual entry. Of course, I haven't forgotten Mursdays though!

This song makes me feel... Weightless. I get chills every time it comes on, and I have to stop what I'm doing and float for 3 minutes and 54 seconds.

Oh, Mr. McCracken. How I've missed those words of yours.

This kid is fucking brilliant. I love the song, and I love how you can tell he loves what he's doing. So, congratulations, Norway; it was well-deserved.

Other than that, the results weren't very surprising. If you know your politics, you can just tell who's gonna give the highest point to whom. The only surprise disappointment was Azerbaijan-- them coming in third place is a fucking joke. Hadise was amazing, so I'm hoping people don't give her a hard time when she gets back.

Anyway... I was gonna share some knitting I've just finished, but I'm too tired from all the excitement of the voting. Plus, it's so fucking hot; my brain is literally melting.

I've been listening to Tori's Abnormally Attracted to Sin ever since I got home, and the song Ophelia = <33333333333333333333333333

Ophelia your secret is safe
Ophelia you must break the chain
some girls will get their way
some fathers will control from the grave
Ophelia you must remember

Veronica's America is not like--
is not like Charlotte's, one to savor
cosmic flavor
then Alison whispers, "remember
Change waltzes in with her sister Pain
waiting for you to send her away
wish her well break the chain
break the chain"
I feel you

Ophelia
"The Eve of St. Agnes",
a poem he can't reach you in
Ophelia you know how to lose
but when will you learn to choose
those men who choose to stay
those mothers who won't look the other way
Ophelia you must remember

Veronica's America is not like ---
is not like Charlotte's, one to savor
cosmic flavor
then Alison whispers, "remember
Change waltzes in with her sister Pain
waiting for you to send her away
wish her well break the chain
break the chain"
I feel you
Ophelia

Okay... That was a good cry.

  • Today was the regional elections here. I was all hopeful and all when I got up this morning, yet this totally sucks.
  • hauntedlaundry.org has been updated. Some of you were wanting to read my Placebo interview, and it's up in the writing section now along with the rest of the articles.
  • Speaking of Placebo... THEY'RE GONNA BE IN TURKEY IN JUNE! And, of course, I'm going. Husby's following up to see when tickets go on sale so we can get ours right away. I have to somehow get backstage or make myself visible or something-- I want Stef to autograph our photo together.
  • I had dinner with my father, his girlfriend, my sister and her friend tonight. Dad and I have been getting along a lot better lately, which is a good thing. I've always said I'd never forgive him, and I still don't think I can, but he's trying so he definitely gets credit for that. He actually asked me if I needed money, and he gave me some anyway even though I said no. I know this sounds rather horrible, as if it's all about the money, but really it's not.
  • I really wanna go bowling. Gotta arrange that soon.

Now, a survey stolen from Sarah-doll, [info]seethrulingerie: ... )

And I'm off to bed.
