Part One: Ancestry and World Culture
If you could live in any other country than your own, which one would it be and why?
Philadelphia, PA, US of A, please.

List all known ancestral nationalities
British, Circassian & gypsy on mom's side, Laz & Georgian on dad's side.

Do you feel a sense of national pride for your home land?
I used to, but not with this government-- I'm not a fan of fascism, kthnx.

Do you feel a sense of national pride for your ancestral roots?
Not really.

Is your family interested in your heritage?
Somewhat.

Part Two: Linguistics
Languages spoken fluently
Turkish & English. Perfect verbal diarrhea for both.

Deutsch.

How many languages did you learn while growing up?
Two, but My Deutsch sucks.

What languages were/are/will be offered at your high school?
English, French, German.

Which one(s) did you/are you/will be taking?
I wanna learn Spanish, actually.

On a scale from 1-10, how much does the realm of linguistics interest you?
10. Planning to do a masters' on it as soon as I find the money.

At the top of your head, what language do you think is probably the easiest to learn?
Spanish, I hope.

What about the hardest?
Latin.

Part Three: World Culture
Are there world cultures that interest you in particular?
All of them, really.

Do you/would you listen to music with lyrics in a language that you don't know?
Yes.

If you have one, what is your favorite type of world music?
Greek & Balkan.

What is your favorite type of cultural food?
I really am a Turkish food fan.

Beauty is defined by our culture. Which practice do you find the most horrific and unethical?
A lot of things are wrong with our culture in general: things you HAVE TO have, size 0, smoking bans...

Have you seen a foreign film before? If not, would you?
Pfft, please! I always do. And I don't mind subtitles.

What aspect of the world that we live in do you hate the most?
Hatred.

What aspect of the world that we live in do you love the most?
The places I'm willing to explore, and all those unique people I've come across and love so much: you know who you are.

One of those days, I'll give you something a lot better to read; I promise.

Wow. I'm really avoiding human contact. So this is my second post of the day. Ha!

Asmaa, [info]xtension_sparkx tagged me.

List ten fictional characters you would have sex with (in no particular order) and tag five people to do the same.

Brian Slade - Velvet Goldmine

Olympas - Alexander

Theo - The Dreamers

Russell Hammond - Almost Famous

Alex de Large - A Clockwork Orange

Sawyer - Lost

Jack Sparrow (DUH!)

Dexter Morgan - Dexter (I know sex does nothing for him, but I'm thinking about myself here)

Kurt Cobain Blake - Last Days

Spike - Buffy the Vampire Slayer

I had to leave books out of this. Ten's such a stupid number!
